Mitsubishi Electric Elite Diamond Contractor

KO HVAC is a Mitsubishi Electric Elite Diamond Contractor, the top tier of Mitsubishi's installer program. Mitsubishi trains and accredits Diamond Contractors, then grades them on training, sales, service, and customer satisfaction. Reaching Elite means meeting those standards and keeping them, so the title is earned, not bought.
In your home, that pays off in coverage and craft. A qualifying Mitsubishi system we install can carry up to 12 years of parts and compressor coverage, longer than Mitsubishi's standard terms. You also get technicians who plan each zone, size each unit, and set up the system the way Mitsubishi intends.

12 years
Parts and compressor coverage on qualifying Diamond Contractor installs, registered within 90 days.
100% at 5°F
Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat models keep their full rated heating output at 5°F.
Down to -13°F
The outdoor temperature Hyper-Heat systems are built to keep heating through.
1982
The year Mitsubishi Electric brought ductless mini-splits to the U.S. market.

As an Elite Diamond Contractor, KO HVAC designs, installs, and services Mitsubishi Electric ductless and ducted systems. Each one is planned around how you use the house, room by room.
A slim indoor unit mounts high on the wall and connects outside through a small opening. We place each one where the air reaches the whole room without blowing across a bed or couch. It's the simplest fix for an addition, a sunroom, or a room that never keeps up.
One outdoor unit runs several indoor units, each with its own setting. We size the outdoor unit to carry every zone, with room to add more later. It's a strong fit for older valley homes built around radiators and no ducts.
A concealed Mitsubishi air handler feeds short duct runs, so you see vents instead of wall units. We designed three zoned Mitsubishi ducted systems for an old farmhouse once heated by a giant steam boiler. The owners got whole-home comfort without a single wall unit.
Ceiling cassettes sit flush and spread air four ways, while floor units tuck under a window. We use them where a wall-mounted unit won't fit or look right. Both keep tricky rooms comfortable without ductwork.
Hyper-Heat systems keep heating through a Pennsylvania January, which matters most on higher ground around Dallas and Mountain Top. We size them to your home's heat loss and plan backup heat for the rare deep freeze. Many homes use one to move off oil or electric baseboard.
Every system comes with a handheld remote, and Wi-Fi control lets you adjust each zone from your phone. We set it up and walk you through it before we leave. That way, every room stays on its own schedule.

A Mitsubishi system's price comes down to how many zones you want, the type of indoor units, and whether you choose Hyper-Heat. Line runs, electrical work, and the outdoor unit's size shape the rest. A single room costs far less than a whole house, so the spread between projects is wide.
We plan the system during an in-home visit and put the price in writing, zone by zone, before anything is ordered. New installs can qualify for 0% financing for 36 months through Wells Fargo or Synchrony, with approved credit.

Both are Mitsubishi Electric systems with the same build quality and warranty backing. The difference is how hard they can heat when the temperature drops. We'll recommend the one your home and your heating plan call for.
| Hyper-Heat | Standard Mitsubishi | |
|---|---|---|
| Heating in deep cold | Full rated output at 5°F, and keeps heating down to -13°F | Heating output drops sooner as it gets colder |
| Best use | Main heat for a room or the whole house | Cooling, plus heat in spring, fall, and milder rooms |
| Backup heat | Needed only on the rare deep freeze | Usually paired with your existing heating system |
| Good fit when | You're moving off oil, propane, or baseboard heat | You're adding cooling to a home that already heats well |
| Price | Higher | Lower |

We decide where each indoor unit goes by how the room is used, where the sun hits, and where the furniture sits. The result is even air without drafts across the places you sit and sleep.
The copper lines between the units are sized to the system and sealed tight at every connection. A clean, leak-free line set protects the compressor that the 12-year coverage is built around.
Mitsubishi's 12-year terms depend on registration within 90 days. We walk you through it on install day, so the full coverage starts clean.
Every Mitsubishi project starts with a call or an online booking, followed by a walk-through of your home.
Step 1
A Room-by-Room Walk-Through
We note which rooms run hot, cold, or both, and look at how you heat now. Then we size each zone and the outdoor unit.
Step 2
A Zone-by-Zone Quote
You get a written quote that shows each zone, the equipment, and the financing terms. Start with the room that bothers you most if you like.
Step 3
Install Day
We mount the indoor units, set the outdoor unit, and run the lines through small openings. For a replacement, we recover the old refrigerant as EPA rules require.
Step 4
Tested and Registered
We test heating and cooling in every zone and show you the remote. Then we walk you through registering the system with Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi is a premium brand, so it's fair to ask what the extra cost buys you. Ask how Hyper-Heat handles a Kingston January, what the 12-year coverage includes, or whether a Carrier ductless unit would do the job. An owner writes every KO HVAC estimate, and we install both brands, so you get a straight comparison.
Tell us your town and which rooms give you trouble. We'll set a visit at a time that works, with nothing owed and nothing to sign.
Call for a quick answer, or book online in about a minute. A person answers our line 24 hours a day, and the office books visits from 8 to 5.
Our Mitsubishi installation work runs from radiator-heated homes in Kingston and the West Side to oil-heated homes in the Back Mountain. Beyond the towns below, we serve homes across Luzerne, Lackawanna, and Wyoming Counties, within about an hour of our base in Kingston.
Every home gets the same walk-through and a zone-by-zone quote. Your town missing? Ask when you book.

Yes, KO HVAC is a Mitsubishi Electric Elite Diamond Contractor, the program's top tier. Qualifying systems we install can carry up to 12 years of parts and compressor coverage.
Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are separate companies that each make their own mini-splits. Their parts and remotes don't interchange, so check the label before ordering anything.
You register your Mitsubishi warranty with Mitsubishi Electric within 90 days of installation. For Diamond Contractor installs, that unlocks up to 12 years of coverage, and we'll walk you through it.
Mitsubishi Electric and Trane Technologies own Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US together. The joint venture formed in 2018 and sells Mitsubishi systems across the U.S.
Mitsubishi mini splits can replace a boiler in many homes, especially Hyper-Heat models that keep heating to -13°F. Some homeowners keep the boiler as backup for the coldest nights.

Tell us which rooms give you trouble, then call or book online. We'll plan the zones, explain your coverage, and put the price in writing.
